Drake passed his first test!

Drake passed his first test with flying colors when he was only a day old! Mom and especially dad were so proud! They tested his hearing at the hospital and his hearing is perfect! Dad was really worried about this and when the test took a little long to complete he was quite concerned. But all turned out well. Sam even kept the little head phones as a momento of the joyous occasion. Now Drake is ready to become a musical genius!

Drake R Barrett

Drake R Barrett was born Monday January 26, 2009 at 4:10pm. He weighed in at 8lbs 7oz and measured 20 inches. For those who are curious, his middle name really is "R". We wanted to name him after Sam's Grandpa Roberts because he has such a long body, arms and fingers but his grandpa's first name was Ralph. I just couldn't do Ralph for the poor kid so "R" it is. I love it!
